Buying a guitar Nid help (:

if you engage in lots of drive/ distortion, it is recommended you get a humbucking guitar. for blues stuff, a single coil in there would be preferred. some recommendations:

**What kinda amp size/ wattage do you prefer?

humbucking is the pups right??

the cube 30x is also like a vox AD series amps...it can model amps...it has different types of drives...the ibanez sa is nice too...if im not wrong they r below 1k or around there...a HSS strat mayb is around 1.2k +- i tink

the amp would go up to 400?

the HSS standard is an american series right

do u have ani recommendations for a MIJ fender?

the guitars depicted (Ibanez SA260/ Fender Std HSS) feature 1x humbucker pickup + 2x single coils.

a good starter amp would be within the $350 price bracket, depends on brand name/ features/ wattage.

The Roland Cube 30 Guitar Combo Amp really packs a punch! There are lots of affordable guitar amps available on the market today, but none of them have the charisma, style, or finesse of this Roland offering. Representing incredible value in a compact guitar amp, this light, portable, and affordable little beast hosts a 10" speaker with 30W of pure tone quality.

The Cube 30 includes 8 different COSM amp simulations, including JC Clean, Acoustic, Black Panel, Brit Combo, Tweed, Classic Stack, Metal Stack, and R-fier Stack. The effects section includes chorus, flanger, phaser, and tremolo as well as an independent delay/reverb and 3-band EQ.

A footswitch input allows you to connect 2 optional FS5U footswitches to control both the effects on/off and switch between the clean channel and lead channel. An auxiliary input enables you to connect other products such as drum machines or CD players, making the Cube 30 a true jam machine!

those are the amps that the cube can model...which is mainly jus the distortion channels if im not wrong...but yea i guess u can call that efx...the other efx is the delay, reverb, tremolo etc

do the cables come with the amp or does it come individually?

do the cables come with the amp or does it come individually?

a cable came with my guitar

dun think it comes with the amp

anyway i dun think they would bother u much...just ask the staff and buy it if u need to ^^

right now just shortlist some guitars and amps and go try them out!!

u might not wanna buy them until u're very sure!

try it out...research on it....try it out......satisfied....then buy it =)

imho get a strat for versatility haha after trying out many guitars, i still like strats the most. and dont get a starterpack, freaking waste of money.
cube15/30's nice with the built in effects, very little tweaking needed and the sound's pretty amazing.

so... recommend me a jap strat?

aniwaes cant test them out :( dunnoe how to plae anithg

at least hold diff types of guitars and see which one's comfortable....feel the neck and see if u're comfortable with the body as well....some guitars have heavy necks which kinda bothers me lol....but yea....just make sure it feels comfortable in yur hands

then ask the staff to play it for u and listen for the sound

try to have him play it thru a similar amp u're gonna buy.....not a huge $982272639 amp

^^
