buying a delay

I have used/owned 3 M9s and 1 M13 with no volume issues, and I always run with a shitload of other stompboxes. I prefer the DSP bypass (meaning it uses the digital buffer even when no effects are selected on the M9) but no problems with true bypass mode either. You can select which bypass mode you want in the setup screen.

Any sources for this info you heard about? I'd be interested to find out more if there's other factors involved.

Hi bro, just google m9 vol issues and loads of threads on the line 6 tech support forum will pop up. They have narrowed it down to certain serial numbers having this issue. But thanks for the clear up. I've been restraining on getting it.

Ah okay, it seems to be a mechanical issue anyway, and quite rare. Well if you're buying 2nd hand just play safe and look at the serial number.

Alright, you won't be disappointed. Verbs sound pretty good too! as well as the other mods/filters/delays. Drives impressed me initially, but after taking a closer listen to them, they're so so. Only would use a couple of the drives

Yes youre right. its too late. It's $180 now. It was a honest mistake by the seller's staff, and I was given the rare opportunity to purchase it at $110. But I tried and tried and I can't seem to find anything usable for it.. oh wells. I spent 2 hours fiddling and finding a sweet ambient spot, but I just... can't. So i passed on it and its now $180.

Darn. The RVs are all a little metallic sounding but with a bit of high-cut / EQ after it, the RV-3 was a very decent and convenient delay/reverb. But hey, won't need it once you get that M9.

exactly. it was really shrilly. i was starting to think it was getting a little overrated. anyways, thanks. Ive stopped kicking myself

i used to use a Line 6 DL-4 and it kept breaking down on me. i've since switched to the BOSS Gigadelay DD-20 and it's solid enough to bludgeon hippies to death while keeping your delay going. it sounds pretty decent but i play live shows ever so often and would rather have something reliable that sounds decent than have something that sounds beautiful but isn't as reliable.
