Budget Bass

personally, i like the feel and tone of that S4B better than my peavey. :P

so... anyone can tell me where to actually sell my bass to a 2nd hand shop? i am sick of posting on ads and waiting...

noooooooo..... someone bought the J&D JD S4B from ranking! noooooooo!!!

by the way, guitar workshop at bras basah also buys second hand goods right?

Is it good to buy 2nd hand bass?? Cuz I can't wait to buy a bass of my own and I'm thinkin of 2nd hand...

Also, which shop do bass stringing service?

Just got my bass back from Guitar77 - I asked Beez to change the volume pot for me cause the old one was corroded. He also changed the strings to a new set and adjusted the action. :) He gives good service. Price is also very reasonable. cheers.

depending on the 2nd bass you have ... i got my warmoth second hand so i found it a good deal. Only buy second hand basses if you think it's worth the buy ...

actually it'll be good if you learn how to restring and setup your bass yourself ... saves alot of trips to the guitar shops and money too ... i learnt it at the cost of the neck of my first bass .. hahahahah ..

Everything looks difficult and complicated the first time, take it as a learning process as it saves you some money to learn to do simple things :)

cheers

yup yup ... i've saved alot of trips to the guitar shop after learning how to setup and adjust my truss rod and neck .. and string height ...

IMO everyone should learn how to re-string, intonate & set their guitar's/ bass' action. this way you can self-rectify certain aspects of your instruments as these procedures are user-manageable. leave the very technical aspects to the pro, i'm sure these kinda rectifications are less frequently encountered.
