Shocking to hear. I don't understand why he hanged himself. I remember watching Kung Fu:The Legend Continues TV series back in the early 90s..still remember the TV intro of it..

kung fu was supposed to be bruce lee's big entry into hollywood. instead the role went over to an angmoh playing a chinese fella, carradine.

but in hindsight, bruce made the right decision to head back to HK to shoot his now classic movies. he probably would have been typecast as a second rate asian actor.

To be fair the character is of half chinese/half american descent which neither Bruce or David were.

I think the manner of his death make it shocking.
