Boss SG-1

woah bro, u really do have lotsa questions abt gears all around in sg and m'sia hehehe :P just kidding.

anyway it's another discontinued swelling pedal. if u're into delays and swell a dl-4 will do good for u. or the cheapest: volume knob.

Your guitar can sound like a violin with SG-1. THere are severals ways to achieve that

1. Vol knob
2. Vol Pedal
3. BYOC - Lazy Sprocket

where can i get an ebow? i love the sound of it in Smashing Pumpkins..and yesterday i just saw that Ecrus Garage used it too..

and how much will it cost too?

there are cheaper alternatives to the Boss SG-1. I wouldnt want to spend close to $1000 just to get it unless I'm a serious collector.

well maybe you can go to Ebenex music to check out the guyatone SV-2. thats a clone of the Boss SG-1.

in my opinion, the Boss SG-1 is the most practical out of the 3 holy grails of Boss. however, they should never appear on stage. one minute it's there, one minute it's not  .

Its a clone of SG-1. In my opinion, its best to use a vol pedal. You can control various degrees of swelling, fast or slow. kick in a delay & use your tremolo bar to add dimensions.

AEnimic: Swee Lee has them. List price is S$240-ish. Needs a fair amount of practise to get the technique down though.
