issit true that boss pedals must be used with the Boss adaptor in order for it to work?

if yes, then how about one-spot adaptors can it work with that?

thx in advance 8)

As long its regulated 9v for both PSA or ASA type.
If you measure the one spot u get ~9.43vdc so thats pretty healthy for boss types.
With a boss PSA adapter you get 9 ~9.10vdc and fresh batt gives ~10.0vdc.
Some complain about hum with the one spot(mostly for the earlier issue) is due to high mA but with multiple pedals plugged in it should be tamed.

Enjoy !!

I also using 1 Spot adaptor to power all my pedals which includes Boss, digitech, Ibanez, Electro-Harmonix, Apex and Jim Dunlop Wah...So far its excellent...So dun worry to use 1 Spot as it gives you 1000mA of power! :D

urmm i was worried coz just now i just tried using a boss pedal with just an adaptor..which was the adaptor of my multifects, Behringer V-Amp....and the boss pedal didn't work...any reasons why?

more than 1000mA. it's 1700mA!! :D

i use a one spot for my ds-2. works fine.
check the 'mA' of your behringer adapter. mayb it is lesser than the boss mA drain?

did you see whats the spec of the vamp adaptor or is there any stated behind the adaptor?

boss pedal need dc 9v supply.

Check if you v amp using ac or dc adaptor. If its ac, you cant just plug in and use, its different. And even if its dc, is it at 9 v or above?

Use the wrong one, perhaps nothing will happen or pedal inside fried(if adaptor supply more than pedal needed and no protection circuit in the pedal...)

One spot can use with many pedals, from boss to moog. But must check the power spec of your pedal, need ac, dc

and boss adaptor, also can use with other pedals, but must be careful, check adaptor spec(its written on the red/shiny sticker, input and output), current spec is much much lower than one spot. If using with couple of pedals that draws large amount of current, the adaptor cannot tahan and will bye bye love..

anyway, heres the page with some useful info

I use One Spot to power up my 9 pedals... from Boss to Fulltone to EHX to Guyatone to Ibanez.. But here's the thing...

I use it to power up my 535Q as well.. which actually is supposed to be 18V... it 'seems' to be working fine.. Yup I know the new 535Qs are 9v.. but mine I bought eons ago... Just wondering will I damage the wah pedal.. Am I getting shortchaged in terms of the sound that I can get from my wah pedal??? Hmmmm....

What do you reckon?
