Bone Pins

Hi all, i recently purchased a set of authentic buffalo bone pins cheap from a fellow SOFTie. Unfortunately, they turned out to be too large to fit into the holes of my guitar. I'd like to have bone pins in though, and i don't know when they'll ever come so cheap, so does anyone have any contacts/suggestions as to how to get them to fit? I'd prefer if someone knew how to recarve the pins but i doubt that'll happen. I don't want the stringholes to be widened though, as replacement pins (should i ever choose to get them) might be too small.

Resizing the pins are just too much effort required, also to keep consistent of the amount to recarved for each pin is almost impossible unless it is done by machine. Good luck.
