would like to post the raw recording of this song, Sunshine Of Your Love by cream,
which we did on last week's practice session.

this is one of the songs we b doing on this coming Sunday Jam at Crazy Elephant
featuring our new drummer, john, with the orignal basic 3 member team.
i suppose we b on at about 10.45 pm after the resident band opening set...

Not bad.. But I believe the lead guitarist should play in moderation..
That way, he can make his improvisation more meaningful..

thanks a lot for your pleasant and positive pointers and also your hits/views.

we r essentially a hobbyist band and still got many learning curves to climb.
we r also currently looking for more commited guitarists [ lead/bass ] to join us in
the enjoyment on our weekly nite jam.

for a hobbyist band, this vid sure is good mr bassist always is the one to switch on the video camera eh? Should rotate a bit. haha~

I thought it was excellent save for a few details which I shall point out (its my personal preference and opinion).

- vocalist should have a little more emotion n expression (check out eric clapton's acoustic version.. haha.. his face is like really contorted at times )
- lead guitarist got sucked into the music too much and over-enjoyed himself i think. haha should listen to the band a little more and also the much used proverb "little is much" can be applied here. He's got good riffs, but a little too much salt spoils the food.
- rhythm guitarist kept the groove going well
- drummer was enjoying himself thoroughly! dats great!
- i couldnt make out the keys/bass... will listen again cos using lappy speakers! hahaha... will posta gain! gg!

p.s. it would b great if some softies could give us some
friendly rating in the utube videos as well.....perhaps a 2 or 3
out 5 stars????.... just some incentive to know that we don't really go
