hi bluesies....

this is one of our first attempt in trying to do a so called 'original' blues
song....... our die hard blues fan @ lead guitarist Ted found a very old but
unknown song done by a band/singer which we can't identify from his old
own collection... we like it - so might as well give it a try.

the blues rythym section progression is basically adopted but adapted to our style. the
lyrics is totally rewritten n new. however the flavour and intent of the song is basically
maintained @ the girl standing up on the poor boy thus giving him a chance to voice his "BLUES"

so do kindly have a view n hope u like it -

plenty thanks!!!!!!!

Nice, good to see you guys enjoying yourself.

Moving forward, you guys could improve on the sound recording. What camera are you using to film this? Is there a way to connect a audio mixer to it?

hi James

MANY PLENTY MERRY X'MAS TO YOU AND ALL YOUR SOFTIES !!!!

yes we do this strictly for fun n self enjoyment.
appreciate your pleasant comment and candid pointer.

we use an mid price still digital camera only without any additional
gagets to raw record our session. thereafter we just upload to youtube
direct without any editing [cos none of us got the knowhow or time to attempt
it ..]
the sound factor - we will surely look into in near future when we can find
a right jammer/member to join us..

plenty cheers!!!!!

Hi Sloopyblue,

I can recognise this song because I have it on a CD album which I used to play years back .... so it was nice to hear you guys doing it on youtube.

Title : I've slipped her mind.
Album : False Accusations (Year 1985)
Artist : The Robert Cray Band
Composer : Dennis Walker (producer who also wrote many songs for Cray)

Now you can Google the lyrics and have more fun singing it. Merry X'mas!
