Blues/Jazz Must Haves

there's so much to learn from this release, even if you are guitar-inclined:

How about Hubert Sumlin, Robert Johnson, John Lee Hooker... You ain't hear the blues if you didn't hear them blues legend play!

Oh yeah, anyone by any chance heard Robert Randolph play his lap steel guitar? Hear the amazing stuff you can do with 13 strings and a slide man!

listen to robert johnson , skip james and son house for really old school pre war acoustic type of blues and jimi hendrix , buddy guy and srv 4 electric blues , hendrix's the best for me! listen to erm , castles made of sand and the wind cries mary , darn nice , oh and srv's cover of little wing!

wooooo jaco!!! hes amazing to listen to even if you're not a bassist!
also,
BUDDY GUY!! woah this guy is THE MAN! he can Blooooooze like hell!

jeff beck?

Local blues is very good!

I've got two tracks which feature singaporean blues guitar god, John Chee. His playing, together with Jeanne French's vocals, is way awesome.

John Chee plays rock, not blues. or rather the kind of blue that most rock fans like :D
