Blackstone MOSFET OD - comments?

Ok since i am familiar with whats goin on in both...let me say this >>>
the stacked transistor type (simulating amp overdrive) is awesome for single note didly didly didly and drivin a sluggish tube amp but tend to get brittle for chord worx....op-amp drives does an allround trick but deal with the mid hump and has that warm touchyness rounded feel.
Havin both types cascaded at low drive gives that clean > crunch > high gain ....now whose the rock star :D WOOOTTT

Thats why,

Guitar --> Blackstone (2 channels) --> Screwdriver --> Clean amp --> WOAH.

Clean / slight hair (bstone orange) / crunchy crunch (bstone red) / warm heavy od (sd) / med-high gain (orange + sd) / hi-gain fat shred tone (red + sd)

something like so.

I've relegated the Sansamp Origianl to pre amp work now. Muahaha... at peace with my tone again.

Dropped by gsonique's place to let him check out the skreddy and blackstone.

Perhaps milkmesto, you should talk to goose abt the blackstone before you take the time to come try it out? ;)
