Black List of Dishonest Sellers

i guess maybe the best is to check the goods you're buying on a couple of websites and when you meet up for collection, check again if there's anything wrong/different. also ask for a one-day guarantee from the seller. hopefully the seller wouldnt run away or anything. ahaha.

For my (thread starter) case, I smsed to ask for 3 days guarantee in case any of the functions are not working properly.

Seller's immediate and very confident reply:-
"100% working"

So I thought it was very cool and sure win.

In the end, the item had broken critical accessories and seller refused to refund even when notified 2 hours after the sale.

ohwell. usually comes with risks. lols. best is to check the entire product online first and then check on the spot before paying the seller. there's no guarantee to all these second hand things.

hope you dont get scammed again!

Well, bro. You know it is not always possible to check everything all the time. This is especially so with digital products with many functions, settings and accessories. Many items also have hidden parts ie. truss rod and internal ciruits of guitars.

yeah i agree. lols. it's really all up to luck. my friend bought a BOSS DS-1 once and the wire snapped. could only work with an adapter.

joshuak, hey, sorry to hear about your bad experience...

Namrehs, hi there. It's strange that you sign up an account, with all your first few posts found in this thread. You happen to know the seller? ;)

dont suspect me! nope, i dont happen to know the seller and im not the seller myself. ahaha. but it sure sucks to be conned by someone.

It will be very malu if somebody who knows you in real person finds out that you cheated in a deal on the internet.

And who knows? That person might even spread the news around...

I never figured out the meaning of all those statistics too.

Update:-

The seller of the Yamaha DD-50 contacted me yesterday and offered to give a refund for the drum machine with faulty footswitches. When I informed him I had already placed an order with Yamaha to import 2 footswitches from Japan, he was willing to bear the cost of these footswitches instead.

Nah... never mind...

Forgiven and case closed.

Rep Power - This is how much you can give
