i like the big stubby, lucky 13, and this jim dunlop usa xh. any1 of them can do the job for me but i prefer thick ones. used to use stubby 3s but the last time i played using them my nails hit the strings cuz they were so small..

There is no such thing as a best pick. Itll depend a lot on your style of playing. But my favorites are the stubbies. But since they're small, they're easily lost.

there are 3 Stubby types, you might have been using the smallest:

I'm using a metal pick.

Thin, flexible stuff. They're no longer selling this I guess. This was one with the Skull head on.

I pasted velcro on both sides.... it's been with me ever since.

Occasionally there's the Jazz III and JD USA pick, but this DIY babe is mainstay.
