I would Vote Fourtones as the best Jamming studio. Friendly service, nice warm comfy feeling & great equips.

i love the boss of 4tones very very cool and friendly guy he even rmbs my name haha.

i hate boons. once i call to book a session cuz 4tones didnt have a slot. so the aunty picked my the phone and said " Arh HELLO. WHAT ? " is this boons ? " ARh YES la WHAT U WANT ? er can i book a session ? " WHAT TIME U WANT ? " er.. 5-7. "DONT HAVE LA DONT HAVE LA, WAN 3-5 HAVE IF NOT GO OTHER PLACE" ...
so i just hung up on her.

OVERALL: FourTones Rocks.

you are right about that Boon studio. BUt that was the studio in Upper Serangoon side. I myself (and some other friends with their bands) never jam at that studio anymore since i had the same experience. I don't know why, any person picking up call at that side are always very rude, be it the auntie or the ah bengs in charge.

Try to call the studio in Tai Tong Crescent. It's also Boon. The person in charge is much better then the auntie. I don't bother to book studio if not this person picking up my call :D And the great thing is, he not only know my name, he even remember my number, hehehe.

might 1 2 consider doing some good recordings there!

My choice would go to An Studio in commonwealth. It brings back nostalgic feelings of the 1950's.Transport you away from 2006 really. Makes me more creative..

i only went to alvron :( and yes it sucks..i can smell the bad equipment from here..

i think i'll check out fourtones :D

The only studio i go to is the Lee Kwong Seng studio.
It's the only one near my home and i dont see any need to travel so far the fact that i only jam for a regular 1-2 hours.
So far no problems there...

Aiyah LKS. I also jam there for 5 years and you know what? I give up, the auntie like shit sia, when I book then I come there, she would say "ah? you where got book" ?? WTF!

Anyway, sometimes if desperate, I go there anyways.

It's at Sembawang road.
Gear wise they have seasoned and well maintained amps.
Not too sure about the guitar and bass cause i always bring my own guitar.
but the drum is OK ...

Well,so far the auntie doesnt give me much problems...she even allow me to gantong my ez link card when i had no money and was to desperate to jam..

the auntie is just such a nag. :)
but other than that , i think lee is pretty okay. the drums are not bad.

Fourtones!!
friendly service, friendly amps, friendly drums :)

Plug in guitar cable anyone can do. But if one of my string snaps, can the aunty help me restring? muahaha

I'm tired of going to jamming studios where the people jaga-ing the studio know little about music. Prefer studios which are being serviced by musicians. Only then they know whether your experience at the studio is good or otherwise (cos they are musicians themselves).

Anyway if you wanna promote the new studio, you should pay for an Ad from James (Soft). Dont just jump into a best jamming studio thread out of the blue... Seems like some of the new studios (Paradise & Creators) are doing this. There is an etiqutte in Soft that you should not advertise for your services via the forums. Please pay the due respect to James.

for me i prefer boon studio in thai thong crescent ... not on the upper seranggoon road ... juz try the room one ... very good marshall amps and the drum is nice too ... a very spacious and big room too.. should try it .. have sofa too ...
