best/cheapest place to get pickups changed at?

does anyone know? cos i just bought new pickups but i dunno where to change at. and like i dont wanna get scammed either. if anyone does. help? hahaha

Hey, can try SV guitars at peninsula plaza. But I oso dunno wads the market rate. They charge $30 for 1 pickup and $40 for 2 or 3 pickups, regardless of humbucker or single coil. And if u are gna custom-wire wif a push-pull pot, i think will cost more. cheers

I mailed TYMC regarding my own guitar. They quoted 30 bucks for 1 guitar, among other stuff i asked for. That's the cheapest i've seen.

Beez is the man for the job!

yes his wiring jobs are perfect and he gives warranty for his work.

but he's expensive. ensure that the cost of your guitar justifies the cost of pickup replacement.

best is still to learn to solder yourself. i started wiring and rewiring my various pickups 2 or 3 years ago. i haven't gone to a tech for wiring jobs since. sometimes for certain things you just can't trust anyone completely.

i prefer Beez. he charge $25 for 1 pickup. so, if you want to change 2 pickups, it will be $50. he also gives you a warranty. highly reccomend him.

I recall SV quoted $40 for 2 pick-ups whilst TYMC charges $30 for the whole guitar irrespective of no. of pick-ups. People at both SV and TYMC are very nice to deal with .... gives you this nice & honest to goodness feel. LOL

Go to BEEZ! If he's free he'll do it on the spot and explain to ya what on earth he's doing. I did a few complicated push pull configurations with him before and he really made an effort to meet my nonsensical requests.. Only problem is his shop at roxy square, qutie far for people living elsewhere cept the East.. but I stay in Yishun and I'm not complaining.. haha :twisted:
