good products with reasonable pricing..but the reasonable pricing may come from the way its all designed...they're flimsy looking...but their effects sound very good..

oh okaay. cant ask much for design. considering its cheap...

Anybody tried their acoustic modeller? How is it relative to Boss AC2 or AC3?

note : behringer ,it produces a "pop" sound everytime its engaged/disengaged.
and it produces a strange "space ship launching" sound everytime its powered up for the 1st time. i got fed-up with the "extra features" and then got ac2 from another guy on luthers. then i realised, minus the "extra" effects, everything else is the same. offloaded mine in 3weeks.

ac3 however has a reverb tweak that behringer doesnt.

Behringer uses reverse engineering by buying the original product, than changing the look, than re producing it using low quality materials. Little money spent on research and product development, they just do plain rip offs. Including the manauls. Cheap circuitry will naturally inherit noise and have a higher signal to noise ratio.

Basically Behringer products are copies or clones of some popular brands like Mackie.

Infact they were sued by Mackie some years back for copying the mixer technology (VLZ) if i remember. :?:

It depends on your luck also. Not all of their products are up to the expectation. Mixers have a hum or noise when used. Hence fit for stage and not for recording. Also their Digital mixer DDX3216 (??) is still a puzzle..only a Behringer tech. guy can operate it fully..Manuals are not up to the point or doesnt explain clear to noobs..

Above all, Behringer products do not have RESALE VALUE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

still can resale. its priced 30sgd, if you sell at 15-20sgd some kid probably is willing to test out. that's the cost of 3 bigmac meals only

based on behringers i've tested out, they arent too "aggressive" as the boss pedals. sounds like "diet boss" :D

probably because of the simple circuitry which is expected from the price
