Behringer wah - any comments?

I saw the Behringer Wah at Ranking sports & Mikemann studios...any body with feedback on this wah? I'm quite interested...4 those who paiseh (bad comments...if any... etc) can pm me..

Looks like a good shell to use for a DIY wah. I bet the wah in there sucks and is hard to mod.

If I buy it, it would be to rip the whole guts out to make my own. Had it been $50 I would have snatched it.

Are we talking about the Hellbabe? I tried out my friend's unit, and I'd say that I really like the switchless design. And even though it's plastic, I find it quite sturdy, and it's light!

in that the wah in itself is very lacking in wah-ish-ness

also another thing to note, this wah has 5 different ranges, and was designed also with basses in mind, so well, its wah is not as pronounced as some would like

wat I want is a semi decent sound...teh unit shud at least go: ooooo...waaaah...a little bit.... and is user friendly....

Look wise dun really care so long the dam thing can work and is a little rugged for club use... 8)

Actually my suggestion is to use the shell for a proper wah circuit. Cos I bet for $75 the Behringer circuit is a piece of shit. Shells are hard to come by cheap, which is why it is hard to build a wah. The circuitry is not that complicated.
