i have a suggestion for this forum, my first one yet: Improve the way the search bar runs.
i'm not sure why but a lot of keywords are always excluded when i do my searches.
For example, when i attempt to search for an audio interface like "Emu Tracker Pre", two of my vital keywords "Emu" and "Pre" are removed from my search because they are "too common".
When i attempt to search for "pod x3 live", my vital keywords "pod" and "x3" are removed.
This can pose a problem. Ok wait, let me rephrase: This does pose a problem all the time when i'm trying to look for certain music industry items with names that are "too common" or "too short".
Think about it: there are really so many products out there with alphabets and digits like "grg170" or "M2" even "MT-2". By disallowing keywords that are shorter than 2 alphabets/digits, soft.com forums is effectively making the searchbar only half as effective as it can potentially be.
