hey all, just found out about this forum a few months ago as i was interested in the vocal section. This is me singing behind these hazel eyes by kelly clarkson. tell me what you guys think about it and perhaps give suggestions for improvement. thanks=)

Hm.. I'm no expert, but would you want to try singing it in a slightly higher key? I couldn't quite hear, but I think you went a little flat around the lower notes.

Agree with the guy above.

I think you should really try it on a higher key. Cause' the verse sounded pretty dull. Maybe you aren't quite confident going higher? The thing about music is, you need to dare to take risks because being just good is not good enough in the world of music - You need to be unique to stand out.

You have show quite some signs of vocal acrobatics which is great. So just work on trying to bring up the key by about 3 notes perhaps? I think you'll sound much, much better if you do.

I think you mean 3 semitones? 3 notes would be a bit too much right? Considering the range of the song... But then again, I'm no expert. Lol.

No. 3 full notes. 3 semitones wouldn't make much of a difference to that really low pitch on the verse. I actually thought its way toooo low if I'm the one singing.
