i think most songs in metal arent played on E standard tuning either...

that would depend on what kinda metal your talking about, but oh well i use my strat for drop tunings tho they dont sound very but still it beats resetting the fr unit.. lol

IMO strat is a very versatile guitar, not that it can play metal very well but it can play quite a bit of songs very well, the rest i say maybe average lah, but i won't say strat suck big time on any genre.

i didnt say it sucked!! haha it's just that playing some stuff that i like with the stock pickups of a mij strat... the tone just doesnt really have any character in it doesnt feel as harsh as my ibanez, but on the other hand if i were to play clean stuff be it blues to normal strum along strongs etc etc it sounds great .. so yea it's a jack at it's own trade

fr= floyd rose, a tremolo system.. a serious pain in the ass if your doing drop tuning

you play liquid not so bad, I play very gas, just smoke through everything don't know how to play just act like know how to play

liquid is like u don't know how to play and you play like you don't know how to play.
solid is you know how to play and u play very power!!
