Oh man I totally loved him. I'm a big southern rock fan and that band had a lot of that sound going on. One of the doubleyellowline guys told me that his album is nothing like that though. More like solo acoustic.

i freakin loved kjwan, mi fav new band that i found at baybeats, really love their stuff, and theyre all really nice and friendly people, i tink only mi and mi frens were the only singaporeans to meet and greet with them...really friendly people, and i seriously love their music

i LOVE KJWAN too!!! freakin hell, some of their stuff sounds like incubus. and the singer's voice sounded kinda a bit like maynard during some songs man!

Actually, the line up this year is more diverse.

Just becasue the two stages are both really big (last year the chill out stage was a very different vibe)
Thats why it seems like less varity.

i thought that the most underrated indie band goes to aloha... the turnout was a disappointment. they were really techincal in their song writing and had great natural stage presence. At the last song, 2 guys were playing some wicked drum magic. woohoo!

But I guess its because people had school or work the next day in the early morning.
I couldn't catch them because I had school the next day and mum was hopping mad.
