Friends..

Let us observed a minute of silence to those who lost their lives..

My thoughts...

This senseless act of cowardice sickened me to my stomach...an onslaught on civilians..non-combatants most of them..by youths potraying themselves as mujahedeens..all in the name of jihad..

Fathers/mothers without children..Husbands/Wives without their partners..

Most of the militants involved were youths...brainwashed by a culture of the "elder knows better"...and probably the whole brains of the operations is an elderly person..

Let us pray that such tragedy should never be allowed to occur here..

Bastards need to be tortured to death. Lashing out AK-47s on the innocnet general public, sickening and cowardly indeed. Condolences to everyone who lost a loved one.

-quouted from TNP-

"Cowards" is too mild a word...the murderers deserved to be called worse,in language you'd hear in the grimy alleys of Geylang...

Condolences to those who lost their lives. The murdered Singaporean was unfortunate to be at the wrong place at the wrong time. Just goes to show, terrorism can happen anywhere, even here. :(

I visited India in 2001, months after 9/11. My dad was working in Delhi at the time but he travels within India, including Mumbai. I remember that when he was in Delhi in 2002, a goverment building was bombed by a militant group. Thank god, my dad finished his term there.

I hate it when terrorists use religion as an excuse to attack and intimidate innocent people. The world isn't a safe place to live in as of this moment. So we have to watch our backs.

My dad owns a business in Mumbai, and he was supposed to hold a meeting at the Oberoi Hotel one day after it was attacked. Thank God man.

I think these terrorists are serious dumbasses. Wildly spraying bullets at completely innocent people who have really done NOTHING to hurt them.

And also the security is BULLSHIT. In mumbai, every shopping centre has a security guard post at every entrance to check for weapons. EVERY shopping centre. And the bloody 5-star hotels which were attacked cant even uphold the level of security of a simple SHOPPING CENTRE?! Wtf. Lazy corrupt bastards

we've all gotta be careful. no one anticipated a hostage-taking situation in mumbai. and amongst the dead was one of our fellow singaporeans. it makes me sick. but it goes to show that its just not safe in this world. we gotta watch our backs.

my condolences to the family of the murdered singaporean.

Poor planning by the Indian commandos imo.

Have read that the hotel staff were helpful and helped save a few lives.

Cowardly people. Condolences to all who have lost their lives. Nothing can be said about these barbaric militants as not even words should be spent describing them; they do not deserve this honour. They should be forgotten and discarded away in our memories.

Many condolences to the grieving families here and overseas. Its a real tragedy and many hates and spits go out to the terrorists organization responsible for this senseless killing.

RIP to those who died. This is a sign that peace could not be taken for granted.I took peace for granted las time but now this happens to a fellow singaporean, its like a wake up call.Seriously, war sucks.

Well, like the song War suck, lets party.Make love and not war.

Life is precious, RIP.

Let's do also step back and take a look at the bigger picture. We are all part of the society that creates these terrorist scum to begin with. In a sense, we are all responsible.

I don't believe we can end terrorism by killing terrorists- their children and families will only continue the bloodshed.

We must all do our part to make the world a better place. It begins with each and every one of us.

condolences to the families who lost their loved ones..

erm wats the real aim of these idiotic terrorists?
i dun really quite see their point of doing all these....
and i hate this old bas***ds brainwashing those young kids to do such a thing..

r.i.p. for the victims and condolences to their family left behind.

the message sent by the terrorist is they are still real problem. just see the news report that they are highly trained and able to catch up with mumbai commandos. they are also young people live in modern era where internet, news and knowledged now easily access. they surely know they join a terrorist team.

hope singapore goverment does not weakened their strategy to fight terrorist.

What is the strategy really, to fight terrorists? It's a vicious cycle. Killing them will not work, unless we are able to eradicate every human being with even the slightest notion of terrorism and that is utterly impossible.

Another way is to completely unify the world under one religion. This is also impossible, and there are also terrorists who attack for reasons other than religion.

So how?? It just goes on forever. Many people say fight terrorist fight terrorist. How do we fight them? What exactly is it that we're fighting?

seriously , the terrorists . i don't give a if they're the same religion as me. they're a disgrace . im sorry for the harsh words.

sorry james. its edited. no vulgar.

IMO

as long as there is oppression in the lands of Palestine..this has been the rallying factor for the terrorists.Let's not forget that besides Islam, there are Palestinian Christians who subscribed to this idealogy..a good example would be the George Habash's Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP)

Nevertheless..such tragedy are very Al-Qaedaish in terms of planning and execution. The sad part...most of the young men involved were probably educated in the West with good degrees. We would never know what triggered such acts of terror in their minds.
