bass overdrive

would like to get a bass overdrive. anyone is helpful enough to intro me something cheap yet good overdrive? good in the sense, distorted super fat tone. was told to get behringer http://www.behringer.de/EN/Products/BOD100.aspx so yeah. help?

everyone has different requirement for tone. have you tried boss odb-3 yet?

"distorted super fat tone" could be the odb-3. the ehx bass big muff is also well loved. behringers are supposedly knock-off boss pedals, so if you want a boss bass distortion on the cheap it could be for you.

You can try running your bass through a Boss Blues Driver BD-2 ...i like the tone that comes out of it.

beta alvin bass overdrive? they are boss clones, but with better parts than behringer

u also can use boss HM-2 for bass, massive gain and tone, i am still looking for 1. it suck on guitar but brilliant on bass, or u can try bad monkey not bad as well.

to me, ODB-3 still gives the best sound... its much fuller than just an ordinary overdrive=)
