BASS GUITAR - PICKUP QUESTION

Hi,
was thinking of putting passive bartoloni pickups into my warwick fortress... anyone tried it before? Hope to get a real smooth and warm tone out of it....

comments/advice would be greatly appreciated.

A smooth and warm bass tone can be quite different from ppl to ppl. A lot also depend on amp used, eq setting or bass preamp etc. The pickup will make up part of the quest for good tone, imho

Bartolini pickups are good, at least from my experience. Also, they're one of the few brands using rail magnets for bass pickups, so you don't have to worry about string spacing.
