Band songs from movies???

The ghostbusters theme.
OR That very famous song from titanic! :D

Also,
"Rollercoaster" or was it "Love Rollercoaster" from the Red Hot Chili Peppers
"Canned Heat" from Jamiroquai
"Kiss Me" from Six Pence None the Richer
"Vindicated" from Dashboard Confessional
"Layla" from Eric Clapton

You could try "Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me" by U2 for Batman Forever. Glam rock with a sticky bass groove and abrasive guitars. Vocals hard to handle though, unless you're good with falsettos.

Beatles are a pretty good choice, and for a more recent movie to the one already suggested there's Across the Universe. Also, A Walk To Remember features lots of Switchfoot songs, like "You", "Learning To Breathe" etc. Catchy industrial pop-rock.

Oh and that Amy Winehouse song, "Valerie"? The original is a damn infectious chiming number by The Zutons, should check it out. The Winehouse cover was in "27 Dresses", but you could do the original poprock arrangement, which I think sounds better anyway.

The entire Jesus Christ Superstar soundtrack by Andrew Lloyd Webber & Tim Rice.

Ohh, yeahh. Farking classic, that one. :D.

Which reminds me of, "in my dreams, I was drowning my sorrows, but my sorrows they learned to swim..."

Oh yeah, don't forget Def Lep too, mate. From Balls Of Fury hahaha. "Pour some sugar on me..."
