band politics locked up

Hi,

I saw one topic, "BAND POLITICS" which was locked up,. hehehe,...some dispute on some band members ,i think,.....

anyway, since the topic was locked and i cant share my own point of view,. let me just say a bit of something,....(in my own opinion,.)

having a band form together is not how great the guitarist or the bassist or the drummer is,.... it's how you guys jive together and click as one. it's like a family, helping each other,.teaching one another,. not pointing fingers,.
im not trying to be a preacher here or something but when i first started out playing as a rythym guitarist, it sucked man! sucked big time! ahhahaha,.. but my band mates were there to slowly help me pick up the phase, as they were saying that it's easy to find any guitarist,. there's thousand of them out there,. but it's very difficult to get someone you can enjoy playing messed up tunes with,...hehehe

just want to share,. hope it makes sense,...hahahaha..

Why would being a rhythm guitarist suck? Songs are mostly rhythm based unless you do instrumentals.

i still think if you feel disadvantaged by your band, you should talk to them to find a resolution. if there's no way out, just quit. no point harbouring hatred/unhappiness.

* the reason why i lock/locking is because these things are better settled offline. chances of flamming and all the xyz flying is almost confirmed. :lol:
