I cant wait to experience being "caught in a mosh" again! TASTE OF CHAOS PLSSS MAKE MY MONEY WELL SPENT!
What i hated about the gig:
- WAY too congested. Whenever a song started the whole crowd would start to surge.
- No moshing etiquette. Instead of joining the circle pit (was any formed?) people created small moshes here and there, irritating the people who did not want to mosh.
- The set was way to short, just above an hour. I hadn't even lost my voice yet !
- The sound system was horrible. I could barely hear syn's guitar, and sometimes i couldn't even hear the vocals at all.
- The opening band was unnecessary. Some bands need opening bands, and some don't. ( i do like their music tho )
- Guys "protecting" their girls. Whenever the crowd surges they go berserk.
I had really been looking forward to this, especially after watching live in the LBC and after seeing them at singfest. arrgh. I really hope protest the hero or fall of troy come down..
Well, i wasn't at the concert but from different tongues, i think they played too little for a show which is suppose to be 2hrs? And they are not really metal. I think there are too many youngsters out there that are too arrogant about music. Thinking that by listening to A7X, you're metal.
Like how Billy Sheehan calls this genre as 'Cookie Monster' music(at his bass clinic). Cause of the vocals, but M. Shadows is a good vocalist though(He reminds me of Phil Anselmo from Pantera ). I think that they are extremely overrated and so, i didn't waste a single cent to attend the show.
I respect them but i don't like them. Not in a sarcastic way, just being factual
m shads is a huge phil anselmo fan.. If you listen carefully.. he sings exactly like him.. just that anselmo is a redneck. shads sings clearer then anselmo cause of LA culture..
younger fans need to grow older to appreciate music.. when i was younger.. i used to call metallica sell outs.. cause they betrayed their thrash metal outfit in favour of fame.. Age does do wonders..(i feel ashamed of my younger self but its all part of growing up right ???) LISTEN TO MORE MUSIC.. M shads fav song is Barbie girl.. hahaha.. so can we call him a sellout?? no what..
I was thr.
i arrived 8.30am. and when 2 crew mmbrs brought out the table and chairs the havoc occurs. its funny, alot of matreps jus cut infront of us eventho they saw us sitting. damn angry with the security/organizers . lame as.. barricade for nothing. the havoc was pretty annoying, alot of ppl started getting worked up for nothing . and when the door opened, tt part was even worse. ppl who jus came quickly went to the left side and had their frens pushing them to the entrance. very pissed off and in the end got in the middle where emo kids head banged very hard to the song seize the day...... haha i vent my anger on the dude infront of me and knocked his specs off (sorry). and i gt my karma back and i sprained my ankle really bad. i couldnt walk right now =). overall concert 8/10. good music and performance. btw they gave autographs at where/when?
does anyone have pictures from the show?
i think a few pages back there is a link. i got the pics from there
hey guys!
on behalf of vermillion we apologise for not having introduced ourselves in the start xD we did decide on not talking too much because, yes, we were taking up "a7x" deserved time. so we wanted to play the set in focus of warming everyone up and we hope and pray that we did a well enough job! so those who were headbanging along and jumping and clapping and oi-ing, thank you so so much. and for those who didnt, we hope u will soon!
so because we didnt introduce ourselves here it goes, www.myspace.com/vermillionsg im not gonna side track this thread so to conclude the introduction, u can see everything there. ultimately, the band had a lot of fun and it was an amazing experience to share the stage with AVENGED SEVENFOLD! we hope all you striving musicians out there will get a chance to experience this as well. so do work hard as a band!
as for rino not being able to play for us that nite. he did have a lot of project meetings lined up and we'll be honest that we got this opportunity to play a lil last minute. Rino was not able to play because his project is of great importance to his scholastic life.
NO to the fact that he didnt play because he didnt like A7X. so to mus, really sorry bro but thats not the truth. he really could not play because of school stuff.
if you did notice a lot of mistakes on our part, we apologise for that as well as our sessionist only had four hours of practice to learn six songs. i dont think just anyone can do that, so we'd like to thank Junaidi from Dear Arson to take on this suicidal mission.
so yessss we opened but ultimately, A7X rocked the house
thanks guys for all the support. we reallyreallyreally appreciate it
nevertheless, both a7x and vermillion rocked the show ^^ ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh i'm still hacing the a7x sickness- .-
the show rock me man!!! Synyster playing his own guitar solo!
And the drummer play so relaxing.the singer,a little bit slack.
Haha but avenged sevenfold still the best.people who miss the show, don't be sad,few years time, they will be back.
