You're definitely the first person i know to enter NS worrying about ghosts as his main priority.

my camp is damn ulu and its surrounded by cemetries on 2 sides. During the chinese 7th month. you see alot of perm staff burning paper.. planting their joss sticks all over the sides of the road.

i did try to bring in an electric guitar and an amp. But it didnt work out.cos i couldnt turn the vol past 1. Furthermore this amp tends to sound crappy at low volumes.

Then i realised its quite pointless to play the electric guitar in camp since i can book out after 1730, and book in by 2359. so i brought it home.

i wanted to go mdc! then i missed the auditions cos my company OC didnt inform us when they were. so aftert bmtc at my new unit i learned from ple from other companies that they were informed and allowed to book out for auditions. im damn sad.

ns pay that low meh?? i tot 300 is during ur bmt. then after that u go to diff vocations n get diff pay, rite? so nt reali 300 x 24mths rite? my cousin went to sispec and became a sergent. get 800/mth if im nt wrng. another relative went ocs become officer get 1000+/mth.

anyway anyone got any idea abt commandos pay? and wats their training like n stuff? i have been interested in the commandos since i first wore the army uniform during sec 1(ncc). and a friend of mine recently got a letter for commando selection. im exicted for him. bt we're all teasing him rite nw coz ironically, that bugger is so damn pampered that he dosent eat any veges and cannot step on grass(allergy). wonder wat will happen if he get into commandos... haha

If you are referring to my post , then as I mentioned that was the pay when I was in NS back in 96. BMT was 240. Corporal was 300 or 350. Officers was like 500-600. cant remember the exact amount, it was 10 years ago!

eh 3000 km is hiong ok... you drive to kl can cry already... and that's only 500km... 300,200 if you stop at malacca for a night. and with lorry... xiong... just to get 150 will take ages.
