Army got wad audio thing?..

hey i saw on this forum that some ppl in NS take some audio apprenticeship in the NS?.. how ? anyone know abt this and the reqs?..
 
If I'm not mistaken , some SOFTies were talking about it about 6-7 months back in one of the forum threads....

It's audio mixed with drama I think...you gotta check with other fellow SOFTies who have gone through NS
 
well , for the SAF two places you can get in touch with music would be

1 - SAF military band
2 - Music and Drama company.

other then that... nothing much i guess.
 
Normally for the admin side of the camp, where the lobos and the downgrades normally are. Sometime also got family day or parade stuffs, where you need a PA system. Other then that, nuthing else except stated above.

Very remote chance to get it even if you are lobo or downgrade, too many lobos and downgrades......hahahaha..... :lol: :lol:

2. Got 1 unit that handles all the sound systems for NDP.

Met some others who does audio stuff in places I cannot disclose. :lol:

There are even specialists too......hahaha...

No wonder even fat soldiers have to go and chiong sua...... sob....sob... :cry: :cry:

During OC evening ,show ur potential in singing or acting.. Croon ur voice like u never croon before.. Act like u never act before..

During end of bmt survey, put music and drama as main interest instead of reading, computing, biking, racing.. Sure go in one.
 
Which army unit u get posted after BMT is already pre-determined when u go for ur medical check-up when get ur PES status, unless u sign-on or show leadership qualities to get to OCS or SISPEC.. To get into those specialist units abv u need to to be PES C and below and if u hold a diploma related to that field than ur chances r even greater.. My previous "unfit" polymates from FSV all got into MDC or Film Unit.. If u r PES B and abv then forget abt going to such units, unless u r really talented and have proof to show u r, then u may get a slim chance to enter.. However u still need to serve 1 yr in a combat vocation first before convertin vocation..
 
haha.. IM FAT.. weee... so i guess i stand a chance :P... besides i duno whether i'll be going overseas straight after my Os, if i do , i come back sure go inside for sure lol.. coz taking music production and engineering lol..
 
I was awarded Pes "E" status.
I wanted to get into MDC one after my 1 week "residential induction programme in Tekong." I was posted to Guards Unit. At 1st, I thought I was doomed to be a clerk, than they told me I was doing Video for NDP 06. I recently graduated from FSV.
So not much difference if I go MDC. Still same job scope. NDP portfolio is much more impressive though. :D

Many thx to HeartRockSingapore and ShredCrow for the info they gave me when I tried to get into MDC.
 
i heard the people in m&c are gay.. sissys.. haha i use to think wanna get in also.. but heard of those who say pple there kinda sissy.......










i rather go driver a truck or something
