Armand/ A Sweet rides

So I've been looking around for a ride even though I can't afford one yet haha. I've heard a couple of soundfiles of the 21" armand ride and the 21" sweet ride and I really like both.

Does anyone have either of the above mentioned rides or has anyone played them before?

I've played the 21" Sweet ride before, my friend owns a piece. Great ride, gorgeous crash, excellent sticking, imho. Too bad they're discontinued and you can only get them off the bay, mostly.

I'm looking for one off the bay as well, and trying to convince my friend to sell me his. The 15" Sweet hats I ordered got lost in shipping, I took a chance on getting insurance so I lost everything on it. Trying to strike up a deal for another pair at the moment.

You lost the shippin of ur hats? Jeepers, wad do you use to ship your stuff can I know? Lost over shipping is quite a big issue man.. your hats? So did u get any compensation or?

I prefer the 21" Armand Ride, it's thinner and much more crashable. Sounds sweeter than the Sweet Ride when ridden.

I'm pretty sure Dave Grohl uses Sweet rides as crashes. Check out the QOTSA album songs for the deaf. pretty good indication of the crash sound

RSM, where did you try the armand ride?? I think I like it better than the sweet ride, though i havent gotten the chance to try both out yet. Also looking at the k custom dark. Haha all equally expensive
