Are my songs very scary??

WOO I love your songs! Prefer them over your band's music, to be honest. Hope to see you punch an album or gig them out one day..
You've got a lovely voice :}}

And.. Thanks for making me puke and for screwing my eyes up at 7 in the morning-- I needed that.

anyone heard of PJ Harvey? Her latest album called White Chalk seems very much in the vein of Paynk. But very nice. Hope to hear more from you yeah :)

Nah I can't perform on my own hahaha, I can't play guitar well enough.
HAHA No problem, the background had awoken many sleepy people, and put many awake people to sleep as well.

eh paynk! i know you! But I forgotten your real name though. But I know Siraj. PM me your email so I can talk to you on msn. I'm Ad, from Crackerjack. Will listen to your songs once I get back from school. have a nice day.

wtf!!!

i salute u!
nice tunes. no! its not scary, its lovely.
u woke me up from dozing off in the office. a one girl band... steady la!

i salute u! give us more!

i have to agree with the positive responses given here, everybody loves u
cool easy going & kind of down to earth mood... much scarier than sweenytodd?

definitely reminded me of Harvey's White Chalk as well.

btw the background is very psychedelic, i find myself staring at the screen ALOT. if i didnt know better i would think you're trying to hypnotise people

ps: though not exactly like your style, you could look up Nina Nastasia :)

i don't think it's scary. interesting sound though. it's got my attention.

i'm more distracted by the background though. gave me a headache.

gonna go against the grain here. Voice sounds like there's alot more potential but the song itself is pretty badly written imho, no proper song structure and arrangement

softies love girls....

i pretty much like the stuff but that's because i'm viewing them as demos. could be much better

grls loves softies

noinimod, if i may ask..
what is song structure & arrangement?
is there a proper way to write a good song?

was wondering if you would mind sending me an acapella of any of the tracks? I think a remix would be fun!

Hahahahha no I'm not changing the background, I like it. Anyway the idea is only to make you close your eyes when you listen. So don't be bothered by the background please, friends.

Thanks noinimod. In that sense, yes I would agree with you that my songs are badly written as they have no structure, there's no chorus sometimes, no repeating parts, which was against what I have learnt in music composing lessons as well.

In my opinion though, not everything has to be repeated, at least not for what I wanna portray. It's more of a story-telling, less of a song, like you won't expect to see repeating chapters in a story book, will you?

Sea People by Emiliana Torrini.

Can you ever see me like you did before?
Can you ever see me like you did once more?
When you look into my eyes,
I can breathe in water like you.
When you say good bye
My lungs they fill with water
cos I will always love you..

The end.

No chorus no verse.
I think it's beautiful still.

But on the other hand I would say that right now, my instruments are not advanced enough to hold up the song to make it that short and sweet yet substantial enough. So I am looking forward to mini collaborations with people equiped with skills in that area, very much.
