Anyone played an Ibanez S Series?

Hey sub, Ibanez Singapore states Metallic Gray Flat and Metallic Olive Flat as the colours for the S520EX, but Ibanez US has only one colour, Black. Is the black the same as the metallic gray flat? Or is the grey regionally exclusive like the green?

the Gray Flat finish is another Asian exclusive. it's actually a lighter shade of black, not too different IMO. i don't quite like green for guitars, but the olive finish is a pleasant hue in this offering. 8)

I see sub.. Cool. Are the pricings for the 470 and the 520 the same?

the 470 lists for a little more due to:

*additional single coil
*laminate top

tone-wise, the 520 has lesser midrange intrusion due to the covered nature of the pickups.

I see, I expected the 520 to cost more cos it's a larger model number. :lol: Thanks for the info. Will there be more unique finishes next year?
