Just curious anyone out here who has used Vpost's service to ship in something with the value of US$2500 or more? According to the US/Vpost regulations, anything more than US$2500 to be shipped out of USA need a Shipper's Export Declaration form (SED) to be filled in the by the merchant/seller of the item. Problem is that my merchant refused to complete the form as they told me that they're not supposed to sell/ship the item outside US. Now my item already arrived at Vpost's USA facility and awaiting for the SED form before they can ship it to me. In the midst of things, I heck cared and filled in the form myself with all the information I can find online and sent it to Vpost. Haven't heard anything from them yet, hopefully won't run into any problems.
Anyone here ran into such problems and still manage to have your item sent to you eventually via other means, etc? FYI, I've purchased a guitar lah, not some controlled-item or something *lol*
