Then why is it more expensive than colouring?

its harder to do and its a long process.. have to select the hair, use metal foils, colour it, dry the dye, wash the hair,dry the hair,, long and tedious process.. my sis just had red highlights on her hair..

lol...good description bro...it stings so hard that it burns...literally...yea...and after the bleaching, the scalp still feels "shrunken up" for about 2 weeks more...i'd think twice if i ever wanna bleach my hair again. :?

i've been dying my hair since sec four, couldn't wait till after Os, so i had to keep hiding from the discipline mistress.

I've tried DIY green. By gatsby or something? Ash green to be precise. Think it was supposed to be a "guy" dye? but it's the only brand with green.

It turned out brown. A pretty brown though..

Guess it's still most advisable to do a salon job. This is where the issue of insufficient moolah comes in. :?

I have red hair now.. what's next?

No offence but i'm so against singaporeans dyeing their hair ... Don't find it cool one bit. And that's for normal brown/blonde ones. dont get me started with green.

It looks damn beng in natural colors like brown or blonde because its the "in-thing" from taiwan right now. I used to want to dye my hair those kinda colors, but that was at a time when dyeing hair was virtually unheard of. Now every taiwan-pop beng is doing it, I wouldn't even want to try.

However, I think brilliant neon colors and the like are cool, because no ah beng would be willing to ruin their image and have enough individuality to try these outlandish colors. They just want to fit in at the expense of personal taste. I think bright unnatural neon colors do add some sorta life and variety to the otherwise stale and ubiquitous dyed-n-spiked beng look.

Yes you will have to bleach in white first before you color it red/green etc.

Perhaps, but i wouldn't know. I don't experiment much in fashion.
