Is there anyone who owns a Vox here? Any difference between a Vox AC30 and AC15 apart from size and wattage?
Anyone has Vox amps?

I'm thinking more of the sound, just like'd to know if there are any differences in tone etc..

The AC15 obviously will break up sooner than the 30. I find the AC15 ha more of a muscular mid range and the top end isn't so promimnent. It is still chimey but it filters off as the amp gets overdriven.
The AC30 however maintains its chime as the gain goes up (we're talking top boost channel). If you get the Ac30 with 2x12 configuration, that will also change the way the amp hits you compared to the Ac15 that has only the 1x12 option.
I prefer the relative smoothness of the 15 to the 30.

I see.. thanks! I was concerned if because of storage issues.. but as we all know, tone overides all else..
