Any listeners of post-grunge?

Grunge music has evolved through the years. And probably defines rock at it's best.
Daughtry probably gave the genre some lifeline when he released his self-titled debut.

I would recommend Black Stone Cherry, Alter Bridge, 12 Stones, Rev Theory and of course, Nickelback. Their new album is quite impressive.

Silverchair anyone? Seether is one of my fave post-grunge bands..
im with jugman.. Three Days Grace and Breaking Benjamin also very nice..

Silverchair is ok. Their 1st album got some good songs and their 2nd album - Freak Show, good to listen as well.

Nirvana's From The Muddy Banks of The Wishkah album is one hell of an album! Can listen to it continuously :mrgreen:

I don't know if Switchfoot counts as true grunge, but there are definitely some grunge influences in their sound and songs.

Haha, Nickelback sounds like a Nirvana parody to me everytime I hear their songs. No offense to Nickelback fans, but Chad Kroeger's voice just cracks me up. His lyrics don't really match his voice, if you know what I mean.

I dont think switchfoot is post-grunge, haha good to know there are post-grunge listeners here, most of the kids now are into screamo, deathcore, whatevacore.

Nickelback's music isn't straight cut grunge rock. So what if their songs get mainstream airplay... does that make them a pop-rock band? Perhaps you might label that to The Click Five.
POST GRUNGE is not the same as GRUNGE.
