Any good Guitar bookstores to recommend me?

Hi,

Does any1 has any good Guitar bookstores(In Singapore) with a huge collection on Guitar books?

As mentioned before, I would like to read and understand about major, minor chords, and the scaling stuff...

Pls help..Thanks!

Yamaha at peninsula has some, Citymusic has them also. But if u wanna save money, the best way to learn about chords and scaling would be through the internet. Or check out the links that some of us posted in this sticky section:

Kinokuniya has a fairly large section.

You can also check the Esplanade library which has a lot of stuff and also free.

erm theres one at parklane mall where the shops sell videos and books all on guitar.

my fav store for book (in priority order), but I can't remember their name (duh!):
- a christian cd shop at Plaza Sing, basement 2
- the shop at park lane, level 3, at the corner. (if taking lift, you've got to walk back to the opposite direction)
- Amazon.com (if I can't get from those shops)

G77 sells the Guitar Encylomedia. All in 1 book with scales and stuff.. lot of theory. Perhaps that will solve the need to hunt down many books.

i have a DK Complete Guitarist book but it seems to only cover certain topics briefly...

ok ... dun mean to brag ... jus a personal opinion .... The BEST music book store i've ever been to is located at ParkLane ... just One level above Guitar Gallery.

The name of the shop is D-Music. The instrutional book they sell are exclusive .. you cant find it anywhere else. And it can really push you an extra mile. Try it!
