Any Genesis fans here?

This band produced 2 of the biggest personalities, Peter Gabriel and Phil Collins. Although this band always had different music genres ranging from progressive rock to synth-pop(duh!), I still love them really..: ) Tony Banks is an incredible keyboardist and I love his playing on Firth of Fifth..Steve Hackett too is a guitar maestro, love his solo on Firth of Fifth...

Its so hard to beleive tat b4 Phil took over singing duties from Peter, Phil was the drummer and a good one too...I think Phil did a great job juggling both vocal/drum roles...: )

My fav songs are Dance on a volcano, Musical Box, Firth of Fifth, Lamb Lies Down on Broadway, Down and Out, Turn It On Again, Mama, Invisible Touch and so much more....hahaha...

Anyone a fan of them?

not exactly a hardcore fan but I did followed them for a period,

Firth of Fifth is an incredible prog rock song featuring the virtuosity
of the instrumentalists. Other songs to mention: That's all, Mama,
Invisible touch, etc

Me too!

Really love "Turn it on Again", especially live. The riff and the time-change always get stuck in my head after listening to them.

Love the fun of stuff like "I can't Dance" too.

Don't really know much about the Peter Gabriel days tho, although like both him and phil collins' solo stuff. And phil's stuff with genesis too.
