This friday's installment of the weekly Identite series at Homeclub features an interesting mix of acts; Melbournian singer-songwriter Gabriel Lynch makes his live debut in Singapore, along with psuedo Melbournian/Singaporean instrumental act Ben, as part of their homecoming mini tour. Psychedellic rock fans would be treated to a set by Auditory Effect, while emo rock stronghold Achilous and the reunion of Trella from their indefinite hiatus is sure to tug at the heart strings of fans of bands like Circa Survive, Emery, The Receiving End of Sirens and the like. Trella will promptly resume their hiatus after this show, so if you want to catch them, this is probably your only chance for a long while. TRELLA
Comprised of Saf, Bong, Joey, Leon, Zach and Weiwen, the young band from Singapore thrives on their undying love for music, impulsive songwriting, and most importantly, their friendship.
Known for their soulful take on alternative rock, the band's releases Orion (2008) and The Silver Lining (2010) have been well received in the Singapore scene. The end of 2011 brought Trella to an indefinite hiatus as various band members went off in pursuit of other commitments, but reunite when they can for the occasional local comeback show.

Gabriel Lynch is a singer-songwriter and troubadour based in Melbourne, Australia known for his honest and heartfelt music.
He's performed several times in Singapore and calls it his "home away from home". You might have seen him collaborate with Charlie Lim, and take the stage at The Esplanade on more than a handful of occasions.
He will officially release his newest EP, Dependent State tonight.

An instrumental band based in Melbourne, Australia.
Based on a loose idea over what sounded good and distasteful, Ben was birthed on a early winters night over some beer and bad music. The brainchild of Benjamin then formed into a musical playgroup and before they knew it, spawned into something amazing.
Having recorded their first single '5' in late September 2012, they plan to release more material as they mature, expanding in variant form and unearthed melodies.

Formed in 2008, this band of 20- somethings was started by bassist Adam Max Surin, son of Max Surin from iconic band Tokyo Square; and his best friend Jon on guitar. It soon included tattooed girl drummer Audrey and multi-talented Helmey on vocals, keys, guitar and more.
