i used to be super into betta or fighting fish.....
hey whats the appeal of betta splendens ah? I see a lot of people crazy about them, i havent tried keeping any before, some may be strikingly colourful, but they seem to just stone in a small tank all the time. :? and people keep trying to breed them too, is it really that nice?

Hmm, a question for you fish lovers. How do you maintain the tank say if you're going on holiday or something? The feed and all..

if u are keeping pellet trained fish, its easy, just do a water change before going off and put a food timer, a food timer automatically dispenses a certain amount of food at a specific time of the day. If your fish need meat and all, normally we'll stuff them with lots of food before going. If the holiday is around 2 weeks, the fish will still survive. There are cases of fishes refusing to eat for 2 months, yet still survivng...haha... :)

Chances are, it won't work. Even if the neighbour agrees, you might be looking at a tank of dead fishes when you return

Well. Eat them before its too late. The fishes.

Or buy a cat. You get to go on holiday, and let the cat feed on your fishes at the same time. 2 birds with one stone.

I have a gar and i started feeding it live food... Though i hide the food in my room so my parents wont see it ... They are those small catfish that look like tadpoles ...

My pet betta fish Darrell...
May he rest in peace up in fish heaven.
I still keep his empty tank with the pebbles and plastic plants and all as a mark of respect even though he had passed on for 6 months.

Yeah I should get a life.

He looks like he's sulking or something.
Don't let it fool you - fish has no facial expression.
I think he was trying to crack a smile though.

Darrell doing what he does best.
Swimming around and waiting for dried blood worms.
Bye bye, Darrell. We'll meet again someday...
