Another musicfest?

My friend told me that her friend has 4 tickets to MUSICFEST.

Anybody has any idea on what kinda music fest is this or let alone even heard about it?

I helping her enquire about this on her behalf and apparently they do not have a website.

yeah i heard about it but only after i found out that one of my fav hk bands' performing. it's apparently called the "singapore music fest" & yeah they don't have a website, but i called nac (heh sorry im such a huge fan of the band) & apparently the music fest is organized by NAC. you have tickets?! can u ask ur friend where she got it??

it's a lame ass event held by the lamos at vj.(ie me) you'll have to pay $50 in the black market for a $10 ticket for a show worth $2.

looks like the local music fever has hit vj big time. the word going around these days is that one of them hooked up with a certain musician from a local band that played there and got lucky. :smt120

erm well there IS a Singpore Music Fest organized by NAC & music and movement. it's more of a contemporary pop music thing. i don't think they've got a website up yet. it's part of the singapore arts fest and will be going on around june..

well at least it is a good effort from them..maybe they should a better publicity...i don see how it is a lame ass event compared to any of heartrocks events where hardly no one trurns up....what's up with that???
the meaning of a successful gig means a good show by the bands to a good crowd..not 5 people in the crowd..try publicity next time.....thanks

Thanks to all for rallying at my side. Let's not turn this into another of those undesirable thread. We are talking about the Singapore Music Fest and not HeartRock.

I believe there will be a media conference specifically about the event sometime later, and much of the information will be revealed then.
