strats have c necks btw , its not flat .

Strats are available in 4 neck shapes. C is found on 60s reissue strats. V is found on 50s reissue strats. U is found on 70s reissue strats. Modern C is found on contemporary strats.

When you say flat, I think your'e talking about fretboard radius. Again, Fender uses 3 main standards. 7.25", 9.5" and 12". But these aren't always era specific. But mostly: Vintage reissue strats are 7.25". American Vintage Hotrods and some artist models are 9.5". Most artist models and MIM Classic Player Series uses 12" radius. That's about the flattest you can get.

LPs aren't flat either...

The ESP Eclipse comes with EMG pickups stock i tink..........so its more geared towards metal. But all u need 2 do is install passive pickups(ur choice) and add coilsplit and u shld be able 2 get a wider palate of sounds. As 4 LPs, they have this extremely warm, bordering on muddy tone so thei're meant more for rock. But again, dun let these so-called limitations affect ur choice, go 4 wa ur ears tell u 2 get. I can get pretty gd blues tone on my Ibanez.

hey thanks dude. a last qtn, i was browsing hub4thailand's guitar sales he's selling hide's signature model, are the pickups in that model also geared towards metal?

hide fan here btw

i think the one he's selling is a miniature version of the actual hide guitar. It's smaller than the actual one. You can check with him to confirm, im not sure.
