Here's the first of a series of video blogs, showing behind-the-scenes action of the new Rudra music video, 'Hymns from the Blazing Chariots'.

Inspired by The Bhagavad Gita from the Mahabharata, this epic video will contain blazing battle scenes shot using green-screen magic!

Hosaywood will film Singapore metal veterans RUDRA’s new music video, ‘Hymns from the Blazing Chariot’. Founders of ‘Vedic Metal’, Rudra’s unique fusion of Indian traditional music and extreme metal has won them critical acclaim worldwide. The track is taken from their upcoming album, to be released in 2009.

We seek help or referral in the following areas:

1) Any Indian theatre or dance groups, with access to Indian costume and
props?
2) Any makeup artistes or art-director people interested to help us
create a small fight scene
3) Tips for locations (medium-large space) available to shoot the band
performance, considering noise factors

Yeap! This video is shot against a green screen, to get the effect like 300 and Lord of the Rings.
