Actually, the sound recordings on AMT's website sounds bland and flat. Like its done line-in.
This pedal looks like another of those bedroom pedals which would emulate heavy gain stuff well there....

amt pedals are overlooked,underated.
they're probably have the best distortion sounds.
the amt dt-2 is like an exact clone of the sansamp gt-2 but i can swear to god its like 2 times better.
trust me.ive tried it,tweak it,and did everything with it.
it emulates the amp sound.
fender,marshall,mesa boogie.
go and buy that.
from blues,indie,rock,metal,heavy metal,to the heaviest of all sounds u can get.
boosting it with an overdrive/tubescreamer will do wonders.
this is one pedal u wanna buy,and u would not sell.
perfect for everyone.
but it doesnt have a mid control.
u can always set it on the amp anyway.
this pedal is GOD.
another pedal which ive tried and own is the du hast/rammstein,
it emulates the mesa boogie amp.
from petrucci to the heaviest stuff on this planet,u gotta get this.
its heavier than a cow.
u wanna get this.
again,stack it up with an overdrive/tubescreamer.
indie/experimetal and those mellow guitar players even love this pedal.

throw away ur metalzone,ur krank ur watever.

and its only $150
bought it last year at davis.
not sure abt now.
but its the ultimate pedal distortion u wanna have.

woah, amt sounds like the best thing since slice bread. I bet if the pedals got stolen, there wont be any hesitation to get another one!
update on AMT
we sent payment to AMT almost 2 months ago and they claimed to have shipped the order a month back, only to backtrack to say that it was still in production due to lack of parts.
we placed a pretty large order of their ENTIRE range and we last heard that they are shipping out on 15/7.
oh well, some suppliers are better than others.
we'll definitely announce once the AMTs are in.

hmm yes i agree with what ahmad mention.The dt2 eats gt2 alive ..
The platinum and fatal tube when tweak properly, yummy, very responsive to your picking..think classic rock to shred kinda stuff.
i`ve also tried du-hast ..its a fine pedal for metal but i feel that its not loud enuf...and need to boost for solo..
only one bad point..if you wanna tone stack..it sucks ...
i belive due to the design and emulation approach..
but still lots of potential..
so mr audio just get la...if you dun like sell me .haha
