Ampeg BA-112 vs Peavy microbass

I tried a ampeg BA 112 today at some jamming studio. omg the sound was amazing the low notes sound clear ad distinct. originally i wanted to get the peavy microbass. however when i tried the ampeg. i kinda like. prefer it over the microbass. anyone know how much its going for and where i can get it?.

hi, i havent been playing bass for almost 2 years now and ive sold all my gear from last time. i have used a ibanez 10B 10W amp, a crate BX15 15W amp and a peavey bass which i cant remember the model.

however, now i wish to start again and i was just wondering if anyone could recommend a 30-40W amp that has good solid lows and isnt too expensive, i.e <$200.

Dun have much experience with other amps
but my Ashdown - After Eight works great for practise.
sounds good too.

dunnu if everyone will agree,. but,. one guy told me that might as well save your money and buy a high end bass and bass amp,.
rather than getting a low end one and later on u would wanna upgrade,.

If you don't start with a practice amp, how are you going to practice at all, by the time you save up for a high end amp(which is way too loud for home use), kuay tiam liao.
