Amp Recommendations

Roland Jazz Chorus!... any one of them... depending on size of house?... hehe... transtube 212's too... works super well with pedals... sadly gotta sell mine... hmmmm.......roland cube 30? cube 40...

hi, any recommendations for home practise 2channel solid state amp, <$500, decent distiortion tone, 20-40W? i'm not going for tubes(to expensive), or digital (kinda thin soundin). prefer 2channels with seperate EQs.

currently considerin @ dis amps
ibanez toneblaster 30R
peavey envoy 110
marshall MG30

thanx in advance

i almost bought the Bronco amp way back then when swee lee still occupied the rear Art Friend shop space- i dislike the volume limitation.

i would NOT suggest u get line6 spider . as they sound pretty digital , i would get a roland cube , more natural sounding . but better yet a tube amp

deathism: i haben try randall rx30d yet. i've tried solid state randall head b4, kinda scooped mid (sounded like the gtr kena choke), even wif the mid @ level 5. i prerfer 2 separate channel EQs. thanx for the advice

platypus: thanx. i'll prefer non digital. i dun mind digital modulations efx but the dist tone kinda "unreal" & "unorganic". sorry to offend digital fans

fibredrive: thanx for the advice. i kinda like triac & GT2, but the high gain dist kinda bass mushy tone (need OD to tighten up).

i've tried peavey bandit 112, its got 2 separate channel EQs. i like the tubey dist tone(altough its solid state). but the price kinda ex, swee lee sellin $500++. didnt crank vol cos afraid annoyin the salesman(he gave me the "he wun buy anythin" kinda look)
