overall , the movie isn't as great as the first avp. but still quite cool though : )

As a big fan of both the alien and predator individually and their series. Its a total disappointment. AVP1 was bad enough....AVP2 seemed totally like a B grade movie just shot with a better camera. Totally horrendous. For the guys wanting to see what the real AVP is about....buy the dark horse comics. There are a few variations of their conflict.

it's ALIENS, not ALIEN2...

Still my fav of all the alien movies, followed by resurrection. Classic stand off between the marines and aliens. Plus all the cool weapons you see that came from the game and comics. Directors and producers need to know fans care about details like that. They should do what Sin City did....call the creator of the series it self to be a co-producer. Less fuckups.

LOL I agree with your sentiment; however the AVP comic book series has (recalling from memory) almost always featured humanity as the poor dudes caught in the middle. I guess the film makers know that if it were a straight-up Predator vs Aliens fight the only way to go would be to portray the Preds as the heroes (and to some extent in AVP2 it is).

Oh, and I loved Aliens. Coming after the suspense of the first Alien movie it was cool to see all the hardware and the cocky space marines walking right into a charlie foxtrot

ALIENS is my fav of all the ALIEN movies- agree; it's the best.

if you are interested to know more about the ALIENs (or xenomorph as they are known), you should watch all 4 movies. have been an ALIEN fan all this while

haha, yar, watched all the alien and predator movies, mi fav was aliens and predator 2, anw i watched avp2 on tuesday, and it wasn't that bad, but it would be nice to see either aliens or predators victorious for once, after all it is "alien vs predator" and no mention of humans, would be nice if for once we got our butt kicked and stayed that way til another movie came along

anw after watching the movie (the first time watching an alien or predator movie for the first time with the volume on), i had a nightmare i was being chestbursted, wahahahahaha
