Just wondering, after u guys break a stick, what do u do with the other one? (which is still in usable condition)

Do drumsticks often break? which brands are good and durable?
Vic Firth? Pro Mark? Vater?

Not talking about synthetic ones like Ahead and Carbos

ic thats a good info there USA Drummer! thx

u mean u pair up the 2 that their other one have broke?

that means they have different tone and weight from each other man

btw are Vic Firth sticks losing durability, quality and popularity?

There are reviews saying that vic firth sticks break easily... but hell they cost a bomb!

Many ppl say Vater last a long time, how bout pro marks?

I'm a fan of Promark sticks though i can't say they're the most durable sticks, but compared to other brands i find that i really like the tone and build of their sticks. the only other brand i've tried is Zildjian, i like to stick with what i'm comfortable with.

And frankly speaking, in the past 5 years i've been playing i've never broken a stick. The worst is that they chip off a little bit, but i've yet to break a stick. But maybe it's because i play jazz..
