additional pickups

if was wondering, since j basses have j bass pick ups and P basses have P bass pickups, could we have both kinds in one bass for example hving 3 sets of pick ups in one bass like the stu hamm urge bass.

so i was wondering if i could add another set of pick ups so my bass.

and if thats possible, who'll do it for me?

addding pups (pickups) is possible. But you'll have to check if your bass is routed for it.
If not, you'll have to send it to a luther and have it routed before you can install the pups.

the urge bass looks like it has 3 knobs for the 3 sets of pups. you'll have to figure out a way to put the extra pots and knobs in if thats the case

KC from maestro ever offered to route the bridge cavity on my bass to install a bigger bridge

rentabass's J bass has the same pup config! i cant rem how he modded it. but his controls are simple. 3 vol knobs and 1 master tone. side jack i suppose.

dun forget there is the control plate.. probably will have a higher chance to get one if you have a fender or one of its clones..
