^ mod gives either you fix the problem or bad string buzz !!
Just get an acoustic built with nice low action

Dude, truss rod is for straigthening the neck. Primary option of action adjustment is filing the saddle for a lower action. Some lower the action from the nut though I don't really like this. In any case. one needs to measure the string to fretboard height accordingly. Get yourself more educated from frets.com Best consult a qualified luthier like Macolm.

Agreed - if you're a beginner, best get it done by a professional.

You can get it done at several places, but I had the action lowered on my classical at Maestro at Excelsior by Anthony (great guy! :)).

They will remove the bridge and file it down on the flat side on some wet and dry sandpaper. It isn't expensive.

You can do it yourself but you're taking a risk. Bridges are replacebale though assuming you can get one the fits the slot again.

You can also send your guitar to:

Kai Chin, formerly from GC, he went and return from a Luthiery course in Indian

Raymond, Luthermusic, went for luthiery course in Canada

Anthony, Guitar 77, does quite a good setup

Cheers

thanks guys for the answers....but actually i won't send it to a shop or anything....i just want to DIY it....cos i dun want to spend money to fix it....this guitar is just a brandless acoustic guitar that one of my friend left for me when she left this country....

the guitar sounds great....better than my epiphone acoustic....tha's why i want to readjust the action to make it comfy to play........

so any idea how can i cut my ivory bridge?or is there any shop where i can buy a thin ivory bridge?

Reez

Ok here is the deal...get a similar bridge piece and slowly sand down the bottom flat side squared to the sand paper flat on a table....do it a step at a time a see which you prefer .... :D Please do not adjust truss rod ya !!
